Papua New Guinea PNG Kumuls 1975 Tribute T-Shirt

Celebrate the pioneers of PNG rugby league with Rewind Media’s Papua New Guinea Kumuls 1975 Tribute T-Shirt.

On 6 July 1975, Papua New Guinea played their first Test match against England at Lloyd Robson Oval in Port Moresby. England won 40–12, but the occasion marked the start of the Kumuls’ Test football journey in the same year PNG gained independence.

This vintage-inspired design honours that historic era with a colourised team portrait, a flowing Papua New Guinea flag and two striking birds of paradise. Bold red-to-yellow lettering and “EST 1975” complete the artwork, with fine halftone detailing giving it an old-school printed finish.

A tribute to the players who paved the way, made for passionate Kumuls supporters and lovers of rugby league history.
